Joining a soil biotechnology startup company, I contributed to the identification, production, and commercial launch of a novel carbon sequestering microbial product. While research and project management was the primary function of my role, due to the nature of a startup, I had the opportunity to serve outside my primary functions with projects in artificial technology integration, inventory and quality management systems development, and company culture building. Highlighted achievements from my time with LoamBio include:

• Creating assays identifying fungal carbon sequestration potential and toxicology compatibility

• Managing 3 laboratory assistants to deliver phenotypic data used in $1,000,000+ decisions

• Initiating and leading collaborative development of best practices on artificial intelligence (AI) use, and upskilling 75+ colleagues on AI technology

• Collaborating with legal team to make laboratory specific quality management practices

• Building inventory management system for intellectual property sensitive materials 

• Developing policies around acquisition and storage of intellectual property sensitive materials 

• Co-founding the “Culture Club” responsible for identifying workplace culture tensions, creating practical solutions, and delivering measurable results​
